Great work, detectives!!
I'll put all this together for the LPs page soon... it takes a little bit of doing, what with the scans, etc. - but it'll happen!
Thanks!

I wonder if the Shalom issues are stamped with the same Code as the Nobility originals. The 133 prefix shows a change from the regular 186. I wonder if the 133 prefix is simply the in-house (White Cliffs) distribution key. That might be why disparate label owners still get the same prefix.

An interesting theory... and you may be right to a certain extent. As with all things Code-related, however, there are notable exceptions. The following labels were Dover distributed, yet were assigned a Client Number other than 133:
APOLLO AXE BIG DEAL CROSS DEESU DOUBLOON EL-TEE EXCALIBUR FRISCO HOT LINE J-MER J and S LODESTONE MANHATTAN NETTIE NOLA PAR LO RING SOUL SOUND SOULIN' U-DOE VIRGIL WHURLEY BURLEY
(more than I thought when I started compiling the list...)
It may have been that Cos assigned 133 to those Clients he thought would be one-offs or at least short term (like Shalom)... I suppose we may never know!
Thanks!

I also found pictures on the net of the following: 186 L 1445 / 1446 - Nobility LP 702B - Albert "Papa" French And His New Orleans Jazz Band - A Night At Dixieland Hall, Volume II So given the codes it seems that 702B (and possibly 702A) were released a bit later than Nobility 702. Attachment:

For 707 (Barbarin's Best) one side has code 186-L-1298, so probably the other side is 186-L-1299.

Bizarre ! Nobility 702B was also published with a different code : SoN 25882 (see scan). Nobility, as Dulai, was a susidiary of Bourbon Records. So, I saw that Dulai 800 has the codes 255-L2413 & 255-L2414. The same record appeared on Shalom (see scans).
