Helping Hand From the Music Services Group at The History Channel, Steve Saperstein (who is working on a major New Orleans discography himself) has contributed these Jazz City session sheets. The first we've ever seen, the sheets give an indication of life after the Dover collapse. The first sheet dates from a session held on December 2, 1971, run by John Berthelot for his Great Southern label. Clinton Scott, the co-founder of the Nola and Hot Line labels, had gone on to form Second-Line Records, and the second sheet is from a session he held on September 26, 1973 that would become the label's first release, George Perkins' We Need A Helping Hand. Thanks, Steve!
