Superlatives fail me. A sad, sad day, and a deep loss.

Matassa's studios were at once my favorite R&B, Soul, and Funk production rooms of all time. We're assembled here under his name, and after all these years, we're still trying to piece his work together. It's worth every second, isn't it?

If not for Cosimo, whole genres would not have been birthed. A hero, really.
