Now up on 1966, linked to 45cat, 1894/1895 removed from among The Missing...

I guess, due to the fact that Al GEENE is spelled the same way on all the Dynamic 45s, maybe that was actually his last name, and not a typo?

I asked George Soulé, who wrote 133-1646 about that, and he said he didn't remember anything about him, The Pussycats, or the Dynamic label... oh well.

Thanks!

Al Geene was from Meridian, MS, During his short recording efforts with his Dynamic label his business card showed him with an office in Hattiesburg, MS. I will try to attache a copy of his business card. I have the names of the personnel comprising the Pussycats, a girl group....they varried....as well as the name of the group that backed up Booney Taylors Dynamic session(s) I will add when I did out the file with that info. Al Geene died several years ago and was a very troubled man.

Ken O. sent us an email with Al Geene's 1966 business card attached:

Interesting that, although his office is listed as being in Hattiesburg, MS, on the reverse is typed "Dynamic Records of Louisiana"... which would acoount, I guess, for those Cosimo Coded Dynamic 45s. Ken also mentioned that Geene (not 'Greene' as som,e had surmised) was a 'very troubled man'... I'd be interersted to hear a few more details on that one.

Ken also sent along a scan of George Soulé's first recording:

Which does not, apparently, bear a Cosimo Code - interesting nonetheless!!

Thanks, Ken!

Thanks Ken, when you find out more about the Dynamic groups personnel I'd be very much interested.
