Don't know if the numbering is a red herring as I thought the NOLA prefix was 171 and 8031 is way past even 1970. Anyway....

65-8031 - NOLA 711 - Warren (Lee) Taylor - Every Day Every Hour
65-8032 - NOLA 711 - Warren (Lee) Taylor - Key To Your Door

A side written by W. Lee, Arranged by W. Quezergue, Bonatemp BMI
B side written by Sax Kari, Arranged by W. Quezergue, Bonatemp & Kari BMI

White label promo distributed exclusively by Tollie.

Perhaps the 65-8031/32 just looks like a Cosimo code but isn't...

I don't know if there's any Cosimo connection, but this is indeed not a Cosimo code. It's a matrix number from the series used by Vee Jay/Tollie with 65 indicating the year. See e.g. also http://www.45cat.com/record/vj694

Hi Peter - That was what I kind of suspected and was going to check into it this morning but you saved me the trouble. It looked too far off but then those "can't be but are" occurrences is part of what keeps records interesting. Thanks for taking the time to reply....
