This studio looks like the Jazz City on Camp St., and the guys recording seems to be members of the Chocolate Milk band. They cut with Toussaint many times but I don't know if they ever waxed at the Jazz City studio? Anyone?

Great shot, Per, thanks...

I know Dan Phillips has posted extensively about Chocolate Milk over on Home of The Groove:

...but, alas, there's no mention of Jazz City. Chocolate Milk drummer Dwight Richards has been a frequent contributor there as well... maybe Dan could ask him?

In doing some research on Jazz City, I have discovered that the photo in question was taken during a WNOE "Live from Jazz City" broadcast, and was featured in a Times-Picayune article on April 11, 1976.

There ya go!
